Odion Ighalo Scores 5th Goal To Give United Lead Against Norwich

Nigeria’s Odion Ighalo scored his fifth goal for Manchester United in Saturday’s FA Cup quarter-final clash with Norwich City at Carrow Road.

The Nigerian has made four starts for the Red Devils, two in the Europa League and two in the FA Cup, since his January loan move from Shanghai Shenhua.

Ighalo, 31, scored in the 51st minute with his first shot on target. Todd Cantwell, however, equalised for Norwich in the 75th minute. Captain Harry Maguire then made it 2-1 in the 118th minute in extra time to pull United through.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made several changes to the side that beat Sheffield United 3-0 in a Premier League game on Wednesday.

Manchester United have now reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup for a record 30th time.
