Nollywood actress, Victoria Inyama, has stated that there is nothing wrong with women taking control of their sexuality by masturbating.
The United Kingdom-based star said this on Friday when she shared a post to raise awareness about masturbation.
“Masturbation May is a whole month dedicated to self-love and carving out some ‘me time’. Too often we forget to take control of our personal wellbeing and show ourselves some love and kindness.
“I’m part of @lovehoneyofficial campaign to raise awareness of masturbation as a healthy, safe and natural way for people to express their sexuality, needs and desires.
“I recommend this too, better than getting involved with a sexual controller…,” she wrote.
On Saturday, Victoria advised victims of domestic violence to report the matter to the police instead of relying on pastors like she did when she was being physically and emotionally abused by her estranged husband, writer, Ben Okri.
“I took it all because of fear, culture and religion. Pastor will beg me not to call the police but keep praying for him to change…Don’t involve pastor, involve family and police…Stop being ashamed,” she wrote.
